Exploring Habitats

Year 2 children entertained the school with their class assembly this week - it was great fun!

The assembly focused on their learning on habitats and the children demonstrated this confidently through their sharing of many facts. We saw pictures of their exciting trip to the Wetlands Centre where they went pond dipping and caught several creatures.

The children held our first Pondémon Battle between a Greater Water Boatman and a Legless Lizard - not sure who won that battle! We also listened to some information reports on Eric's habitat inspired by their learning in English. They then exhausted themselves by finishing with a song (and a dance!) all about habitats.

The children really enjoyed sharing their knowledge with the school and parents, thank you Year 2!
