High expectations, by all, for all, reflecting the example of Jesus

We are Victorians, loved by Historians

Year 6 brought the Victorian age to life this week with their class assembly which covered many aspects of the Victorians.

Was it a Dark Age or was it a Golden Age? - this was the question asked and by the end of the assembly most (if not all) children felt that they would not like to live in Victorian times!

During the assembly, we listened to a couple of songs relating to Victorians including one about evolution and another describing some of the inventions from the period. They also found time to share some creative and impressive written work influenced from their English work on ‘The Street Child’ book.

Thank you Year 6 for a lovely assembly.
