High expectations, by all, for all, reflecting the example of Jesus

Always Better Together

We had another lovely class assembly this morning with the Year 1 children performing and singing brilliantly well.

The assembly started with facts about castles including the different roles people had in the past. The children felt that the best role for Mr Dutton would not be a knight or a baker but the person who took out the rubbish!

The children shared their learning in gymnastics and showed off some of the routines such as teddy rolls. In the assembly, they also performed a class poem and read out their own poems on fireworks in which they used superb vocabularly. Well done Year 1!
