Never Eat Wet Salami

Thank you to Year 5 for their lovely class assembly.

The class have been very busy and in their assembly they covered lots of their learning including their writing in English inspired by Wolf Brother, forces in science and mapwork in geography. It is in their mapwork where they discussed different ways to remember the points of the compass other than, Never Eat Shredded Wheat. We had Never Eat Smelly Wellies, but we also had Never Eat Wet Salami too.

Year 5 shared their time at Hindleap Warren and it was great to see pictures of all the children who went and they were all smiling! It was such a nice trip. The children described several of their highlights from the trip including archery, pentagon tower and team challenges. Hope displayed an impressive talent of gargling!! Thank you Year 5!
