High expectations, by all, for all, reflecting the example of Jesus

You are the future rising

Thank you to Year 6L for their lovely class assembly this week.

It was chocked full with facts and information about their topics in geography, science and English. After singing a beautiful song on the Earth, they shared their learning on climate zones and biomes. Did you know that there are over 8 million species on Earth?

A highlight of the assembly was the children's work in English, both their performance poetry piece from National Poetry Day and their creative writing inspired by their focused book 'Varmints.' The vocabulary selected for their writing was incredible and very expressive.

Also shared at the assembly included their learning of classification and taxonomy.

Well done Year 6, great assembly.
