High expectations, by all, for all, reflecting the example of Jesus

Pirate at St Luke's!

We were visited this morning by a pirate! Many of us believed that it was Mr Dutton in disguise...

We began our worship with trying to identify the missing greatest achievement made by humans. Do you know what it is?

Over the week we have thought about things that we treasure. We often don’t think about what we treasure, even though others can see it in our actions and in what we say. We treasure the things that we spend a lot of time doing or spend a lot of time thinking about.

We discussed if everything that people treasure is ‘good for them’ or good for the people around them?

It certainly wasn't for pirates as it often led to stealing, fighting and most probably punishment. In our pursuit of our treasure, we need to be aware of not ignoring others and being kind too.
