High expectations, by all, for all, reflecting the example of Jesus

In the Romans!

Well done to Year 3, who performed their class assembly in front of their siblings and parents.

They were fantastic. We could see that they had put lots of effort into their costumes because they looked like real Romans! They shared lots of really interesting facts and information about the Romans. Children, parents and teachers were impressed with their loud, clear voices, beautiful singing and their enthusiasm. Year 3 have loved studying the topic this term and they have learnt about many aspects of Roman life. Although this civilisation lived over 1500 years ago, their impact is still very much alive in our everyday lives. It was clear that the children had lots of fun making the assembly and we all loved the song - I was singing it all day much to the chagrin of Mr Bates who works opposite me! Great work Year 3, you should be very proud of yourselves.
