Friday 7 July
You may well have some very tired children on your hands at the moment, with the combination of heat and the hectic schedule in the last weeks of school. We are very much in the midst of production practice and costume design. Our Spanish matador and flamenco outfits are looking extremely fiery and ready for the final flourishes to be added. Ole!
The children loved computing with Mrs Russell this week as they composed and published their own blogs. We had all manner of blogs from fish to pigs, Disney to famous goalkeepers, South Africa to different horse breeds. A link is on the school website in the Year Group page so that you can view our work and leave us some positive feedback.
You may have heard your child talk about a new fictional member of the class, Bradley Chalkers (There’s a Boy in the Girl’s Bathroom; Louis Sachar). The children have really embraced the social and emotional issues facing Bradley and we have been impressed by how empathetic and reflective their comments have been.
Next week we look forward to our last trip of the term to the Rose theatre and of course our two evening shows. See you there!
