Hooke Court 2015 Oct '15
Monday 12th October
Year 4 have now departed heading for Hooke court in Dorset for what promises to be an exciting few days. The weather looks great for their journey.
The children and staff had a great journey down to Hooke court and have begun the process of unpacking and getting themselves ready for the activities. They are all very excited
Tuesday 13th October
The children very much enjoyed their first experience of Hooke Court. After a good journey down and arriving on site the children made shelters in the woods, some very impressive structures were created. Then the evening activity was team building activities in the dark. All children are happy and fine.
The children have eaten well and also slept really well last night. They are looking forward to their Saxon day today which includes making jewellery, weaving, and more! The day will be rounded off with saxon stories whilst sitting around a fire.
Wednesday 14th October
Year 4 children certainly enjoyed yesterday's Saxon themed activities as you can see from the photographs. They loved the story telling last night, listening attentively to a Saxon story including a scary dragon - it really captured their imagination.
The children have woken to another sunny day in Dorset, perfect weather for constructing rockets! The children will be testing their creations before lunchtime. Then they will begin the journey back to Kingston - a 4.30pm return (approximately). The school will keep parents informed with any updates to this through ParentMail.
Additional photographs will be uploaded to this page upon their return to school.
