What a year it has been and I cannot quite believe that this blog entry will be the last of Year 4 the academic year.

This week, the class has been working hard on their routine for the production. The class have been choreographing and designing throughout the week utilising their creativity in the process of preparing for the production.

In mathematics, the children have seen the geometry topic come to an end with an end of topic assessment. The children enjoyed this area of mathematics as they used their previous learning to scaffold new knowledge of angles and properties of shape.

Also coming to a close was the ‘ode & insults’ topic, I have been blown away by the sheer enjoyment the children have expressed in this topic. The class have created great and detailed poetry that they should all be proud of.

Thank you for your amazing pyramid efforts! The class enjoyed a Great British Bake Off styled afternoon where myself and Mrs Corlett indulged in the treats they made!
