In English, we have been looking at script writing and have looked at some exemplar scripts. With a focus on stage directions the children took turns as a director giving the actors stage directions and the actors performing them. We have then began crafting our own script, retelling a story that Horatio told Shylo from the book ‘The Royal Rabbits of London’.
This week in Maths we have been looking at telling the time. After looking at the different time zones around the world, we have identified o’clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past the hour.
In Science, we have labelled the different parts of a flower and have begun explaining their functions.
During our RE session this week, we have learnt about some key beliefs in Hinduism. We have looked at the trinity of Hindu gods: Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer.
Following learning about the counties of the UK and the location of London, Rome and Lima using digital mapping, we have begun to compare the locations and have found some similarities and differences.
