Who we are

 The PFA is run by an elected committee and supported by treasurer and secretary.

Each class has one or more class reps who support the school and help to organise class contributions to PFA events.

We couldn’t do anything without the help and support of the wonderful class reps who work hard to make events happen and raise funds for the school. 

Some of you may already be aware that Kate Gilbert is stepping down as the Chair of the Parents' & Friends' Association (‘PFA’) from the end of the Summer Term.  She has done a fantastic job over the last 3 years and we want to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work.  The funds the PFA raises every year are really valued by the school and we have received several donations which have enriched children’s education.

As the Chair position will be vacant from September 2019, we are now looking for a keen individual (or pair of individuals) who would be willing to take on the role.  In addition we are also looking for a Treasurer to the PFA, which is also a very key role.

Two job specifications have been drafted to give individuals an idea of what the roles involve - these can be found below.  I am sure Kate Gilbert (stlukespfa@gmail.com) would be more than happy to chat to those of you thinking about it to give more information, as would Susan Gledhill (Secretary) and Laura Eden (Vice Chair). Please let the PFA know (through their email) if you are interested in either of these roles.
