After School Club
The Lookout After School Club at St. Luke’s is committed to providing a relaxed and caring environment where children continue to develop their intellectual, physical, social, creative and emotional selves after their school day.
We have enthusiastic and friendly staff, who are qualified and experienced in providing a high level of care. We maintain an adult to child ratio of one to eight, and our staff and volunteers are all DBS checked. The staff are always available to listen to children and communicate daily with parents and carers.
In order that the club remains a happy and friendly environment, we promote good behaviour and ask that the parents support this policy. Children’s personal records are kept in a secure environment
We have our own clubroom, which is safe, comfortable, and full of a good range of equipment. We also provide ample opportunity for quiet time and children have use of the ICT suite and library for homework. Outdoor play is always available in our large but secure playground. Safety of the children is paramount. A member of staff trained and qualified in first aid, is on site at all times.
FOOD & DRINK
In line with the St Luke’s Healthy Eating Policy we provide a varied and nutritious snack tea, prepared with vegetables crudités. Children are encouraged to drink often, and water is available at all times.
