On Wednesday, we saw the exciting return of class assemblies for 2025, with Year 3 setting the bar high.
Their performance was a lively and engaging celebration of Roman history, packed with energy, humour, and impressive displays of learning.
The assembly opened with a dynamic entrance from the children, set to the upbeat tune of Pompeii by Bastille, instantly creating an electric atmosphere. From there, the audience was treated to a fantastic mix of storytelling, creativity, and playful moments—complete with false beards and quirky wigs that added a brilliant comedic touch.
The pupils also showcased their outstanding writing, demonstrating both their hard work and enthusiasm for the topic. It was a thoroughly entertaining and impressive assembly, leaving the audience delighted and setting a high standard for the rest of the year’s performances.
A huge well done to Year 3 for their fantastic effort!
