On Tuesday, members of the School Council ventured into London by train to visit a building that is rich in history and significance. The first of many interesting facts the children learned was that there has been a church on the site of the Abbey for the past 1000 years.
On Wednesday, our school choir brought festive cheer to shoppers at John Lewis with a delightful performance of Christmas carols. The children sang beautifully, their voices filling the store with the magic of the season and creating a joyful atmosphere for everyone present.
A huge thank you to Caterlink for providing the children with a wonderful Christmas dinner on Wednesday.

We had a very successful Christmas Disco for our Key Stage 2 children on Tuesday. It was wonderful to see so many children from the Juniors come together to enjoy some festive fun!
If you've visited the hall recently (perhaps for the fair!), you'll have seen it has been totally transformed into a festive wonderland. This is all thanks to the incredible hard work and creativity of children from every single class!
This week our PFA created a truly magical Santa Grotto for the children to enjoy, and it has been a wonderful highlight of the festive season in school. The music room was beautifully transformed with sparkling lights, wrapped presents, cosy decorations and a welcoming Christmas scene that made every child’s visit feel special.
Our first Parent Council meeting of the year was held online recently and had great attendance from class reps and invited parents.
Last week, our Year 5 and 6 pupils had a wonderful time at the Lifting Young Voices event. They took part in a service at All Saint's Church and it was full of singing, teamwork, and fun, celebrating the joy of music together.
