On Friday, the Year 3 and 4 children had an introductory golf session delivered by the Junior Golf Academy. Using specially designed plastic clubs and soft balls, they were introduced to the fundamentals of golf and were guided through a series of fun, skill-based activities.
On Thursday, our school celebrated World Book Day with a day full of creativity, movement, and reading for a great cause! Thanks to the children’s efforts in collecting sponsorship, we were able to raise a huge amount (nearly £2000!) to help replenish and expand the books in our class and school libraries.
Year 4 took us deep into the heart of the rainforest in their recent class assembly.
Thanks to generous donations from “Break the Rules Day”, our pupils enjoyed an exciting day of science workshops led by visiting educators.

Today we held our first ever Break the Rules Day.
This week, we celebrated Chinese New Year with a special themed lunch! The kitchen team prepared a colourful menu inspired by traditional dishes, giving children a taste of the flavours and traditions of this important festival.
Year 3 treated us to a fascinating class assembly all about the Romans – and even a little about the bones inside our bodies! The children shared their knowledge about Roman life, including the mighty legions that once marched across Europe.
We are especially proud that the school has won awards for the Autumn term and is ranked in the top 10% of schools nationally for attendance. This success reflects the dedication of our pupils, families, and staff in making sure every child can access their full learning potential.
This week, we took part in Safer Internet Day 2026, a global event promoting safe and positive use of technology. This year’s theme was “Smart tech, safe choices”, focusing on how we can use AI responsibly and thoughtfully.
This week, Year 5 treated us to a thoroughly entertaining class assembly all about the Tudor period. The children showcased their learning with confidence and flair, guiding us through key moments of Tudor history and sharing a wealth of fascinating facts about life in Tudor times.
