A big thank you to Year 5 for their fantastic class assembly this week! The children have clearly been working hard, and it was a joy to see them share so much of their learning.
They showcased their geography lessons, including their fun way of remembering the points of the compass—Never Eat Shredded Wheat—and shared insights from their English work inspired by their class book, The Last Wild.
The highlight of the assembly was hearing all about their exciting (and muddy!) residential trip to Hindleap Warren. It was wonderful to see photos of the children enjoying a variety of activities. They spoke enthusiastically about their favourite moments, from throwing an axe and conquering the see-saw to watching Mr Bates tackle the pillowcases challenge.
Thank you, Year 5, for such an entertaining and insightful assembly!
