On Monday, our school choir, who are made up of children within Y4, 5 and 6, took to the stage to perform as part of this year’s Kingston Singing Festival which was held at the Rose Theatre.
As part of the event, primary schools across the borough came together to perform four brand new songs co-written by composer in residence Cheynne Gibbs-Singh and a couple of Kingston schools: ‘Supernovas’, ‘Save our world forever’, 'Friendship makes a beautiful world' and ‘When we build bridges’.
Each school also sang their own song fitting with the theme, with our choir performing ‘I am the earth’. Our children were exceptional on stage, singing with such passion and St. Luke’s spirit. Well done, children. You did us all proud!
