This morning, we came together for a very special worship to celebrate Father Martin and thank him for his incredible 27 years of service to St Luke’s. It was a lovely opportunity for our children, staff and governors to show their appreciation for all he has done for our school community over so many years.
Father Martin has been a much-loved part of St Luke’s, sharing stories, leading worship and helping our children to explore their faith. His warmth, kindness and sense of humour have made a lasting impression on generations of children, and we are hugely grateful for the time, care and commitment he has given to our school.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made a kind donation towards Father Martin’s leaving gift. Your generosity and thoughtfulness are very much appreciated, and it was wonderful to see so many members of our school community wanting to contribute and help us show Father Martin just how much he is valued.
Although we will miss him greatly, we wish him every happiness as he begins this exciting new chapter. Thank you, Father Martin, for everything you have done for St Luke’s. We hope your retirement is filled with happiness, good health and plenty of wonderful new adventures!
