This week our PFA created a truly magical Santa Grotto for the children to enjoy, and it has been a wonderful highlight of the festive season in school. The music room was beautifully transformed with sparkling lights, wrapped presents, cosy decorations and a welcoming Christmas scene that made every child’s visit feel special.
Our first Parent Council meeting of the year was held online recently and had great attendance from class reps and invited parents.
Last week, our Year 5 and 6 pupils had a wonderful time at the Lifting Young Voices event. They took part in a service at All Saint's Church and it was full of singing, teamwork, and fun, celebrating the joy of music together.

We celebrated Odd Socks Day, a fun and colourful reminder that our differences are something to be proud of. The children took part by wearing their brightest, boldest and most unusual socks, helping us reflect on what makes each of us unique.
A huge thank you to our Year 4 children for their fantastic class assembly this week! They gave us a wonderful glimpse into their adventures from their residential trip to Sayers Croft.

A huge thank you to Year 6 for their outstanding class assembly! The performance was wonderfully varied and packed with fascinating facts and insights from their learning.
On Tuesday, the normal buzz of the school and the whirring of learning fell silent. All that could be heard was the rustle of leaves, as the school respectfully observed two minutes' silence in commemoration of Armistice Day and all those who have fallen for our freedom.
