Below is our most recent blog from the nursery. This includes a summary of the two weeks including any important information for the coming weeks (reminders etc). These will be updated every other Friday.

Happy New Year and a heartfelt thank you to all for our very generous Christmas gifts. We hope you all had a peaceful break full of family fun. We have enjoyed listening to all the exciting things the children have been doing and hearing about all of the places you have visited.
Did the decorated little wooden birds and seed encourage real feathered friends to a garden or outdoor space over the break? The children will help collect data later this month for the RSPB’s Great Garden Birdwatch. Please do have a look on their website and join in too.
Everyone has been extremely busy buying and selling in our new role play ‘Corner Shop.’ If you would like to bring in any packets, boxes or small tins to ‘sell’ in our shop that would be lovely. Please remember to attach a price label, so payment can be made with coins. We are focusing on counting and number recognition, so please encourage your child/ren to look out for numbers in the environment, for example - price signs and labels in shops, road signs, on buses and street furniture.
We look forward to happiness and exciting achievements together in 2019.
