Below is our most recent blog. This includes a summary of the last two weeks including any important information for the coming weeks (reminders etc).
Autumn has brought us some fantastic weather, perfect for outdoor play and learning, crisp and sunny! The children really enjoy the outdoors and we see positive interactions between them such as sharing and turn taking when gardening, hide-and-seek, and using the big equipment for obstacle courses.
The children are learning to look after the resources by putting them away safely and correctly at the end of the day. Stickers are a great way to motivate!
The children have been learning about Ourselves, naming and labelling our body parts, and finding out about our senses. By using their hands to explore, the children mixed paint colours, and sensed how cold it was!
Now the children have had 4 weeks in Nursery, we have been able to move to the new gate routine which has proved helpful for children to settle each morning. Thank you so much for your cooperation and support.
Thank you also to those parents and carers who were able to join us for our first Coffee Morning. It is always a popular opportunity for everyone to meet and chat with each other and for us to meet you over a coffee too!
