Surveys and Feedback

At St Luke’s, we value the views of our whole school community. Surveys are an important way for us to gather feedback, celebrate strengths, and identify areas where we can continue to improve.

We regularly seek the opinions of parents, pupils, staff, and other stakeholders to help shape the future of our school and ensure that every child receives the very best experience.

Annual Surveys

Each year, we conduct:

  • Parent Survey (Spring Term)
This survey gives parents the opportunity to share their views on a wide range of areas including teaching and learning, communication, behaviour, wellbeing, leadership, and the wider life of the school.
  • Pupil Survey (Spring Term)
Pupils are invited to share their thoughts about school life, learning, friendships, safety, belonging, and opportunities available to them at St Luke’s.
  • Parent Survey (End of Academic Year)
At the end of the school year, parents are invited to reflect on the year as a whole and provide feedback to support our ongoing development and planning for the future.

Additional Surveys

At times, we may also conduct additional surveys to gather feedback on specific aspects of school life. These may include areas such as:

  • Pupil belonging and wellbeing
  • School communication
  • The school website
  • Curriculum developments
  • Clubs, trips, or wider opportunities
  • New initiatives or changes within school

These surveys help us ensure that decisions are informed by the experiences and perspectives of our school community.

How We Use Survey Feedback

Feedback from surveys is carefully reviewed by school leaders and governors. The information gathered helps us to:

  • Celebrate what is working well
  • Identify priorities for improvement
  • Inform school development planning
  • Strengthen communication and partnerships with families
  • Ensure pupils feel heard and valued

We are grateful to all stakeholders who take the time to complete surveys and support the ongoing development of our school.
