KS2 Athletes Race to Success in Mini Marathon
For the second year, we also entered the TCS Mini Marathon in Schools event. This is a nationwide event where the children have the opportunity to run 2 miles alongside many other children in the country. Over a million children nationwide have taken part since 2020!
On Thursday afternoon, the children in KS2 went across to Elm Park to complete their 2 miles across the afternoon. The children showed determination, resilience and excellent ambition as they completed their 11 laps - walking, jogging or running.
A huge thank you to all the staff and parents who came to cheer the children on. It was a very inspiring afternoon as all the children gave it their all! Well done!
