This week, Year 5 treated us to a thoroughly entertaining class assembly all about the Tudor period. The children showcased their learning with confidence and flair, guiding us through key moments of Tudor history and sharing a wealth of fascinating facts about life in Tudor times.
Their learning was brought to life through their visit to Hampton Court Palace, which helped deepen their understanding of Tudor life and the world of Henry VIII.
One of the highlights was a lively Tudor dance, which gave us a real sense of how people might have celebrated during the period. This was followed by a memorable (and very catchy!) song all about Henry VIII and his six wives.
The assembly was a wonderful example of how much the children have learned and how confidently they can present to an audience. Well done to Year 5 for a truly royal performance – they certainly ruled the stage! 👑
