We were pleased to welcome Reverend Charlton to St Luke’s this week to lead our whole-school worship. She spoke about the season of Advent and the importance of waiting
She reminded us that waiting doesn’t mean nothing is happening; often, it is a time when growth and preparation take place.
To help us explore this idea, Reverend Charlton showed the children a daffodil bulb. She explained that, with care and patience, it will eventually grow into a beautiful flower. This simple example helped us reflect on how many good things take time, and how waiting can be meaningful and full of purpose.
