St. Luke's is a one-form entry Church of England Primary School.
In September 2017 we have accepted an additional 30 reception children so we will admit 60 children to our reception class and 52 children to our nursery.
You are encouraged to apply online this year so the local authority is only providing a paper copy of the Common Application Form upon request. The E-admissions website has been improved further this year and the system is very easy and straightforward to use. Online applications are open via www.eadmissions.org.uk or www.kingston.gov.uk/
If you do not have access to a computer at home please make use of the free facilities at the libraries in the borough. Alternatively we can make a computer available for you to use at school.
If you really cannot access the online system, for whatever reason, please telephone the local authority’s admissions office on 020 8547 4610. They have a very limited number of paper application forms available on request.
As a statutory requirement the local authority is co-ordinating admissions with other local authorities and parents must apply for school places through their own home council. Therefore if you live outside the borough, you must apply through your home council. This is clearly explained in the booklet together with contact details of neighbouring councils.
Both the closing and offer dates are statutory. The closing date for all applications is Sunday 15 January 2017 and the offer date is Tuesday 18 April 2017 (National Offer Day). This is the date that online applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application and letters will be posted by first class post to all applicants, online or paper, who didn’t receive the offer of their first i.e. highest preference school.
Please see our admissions policy for selection and oversubscription criteria. The deadline to lodge an appeal is Wednesday 24 May 2017. Appeals will be heard by an independent appeal panel during June and or July 2017.
