Parents' Council

The Parent Council is an invited group of parents who meet once each term to share ideas. It has an advisory and consultative role considering issues which may be raised by parents, governors or staff.

Members were made up of the class representatives, and a randomly selected parent from each class (a single random number was selected, and applied to all class registers, the parents whose child was that number on the register were invited).

The Parent Council meets alternately in the morning and the evening as a whole and smaller working parties meet where necessary. Either parent could attend the meetings, and where a class has more than one parent representative, only one to attend meeting.

Minutes from Parent Council meetings are available below and hard copies are available in the school foyer.
